Hall of Monuments: Fellowship

[Confused? Start here.]

Fellowship offers a total of 8 HoM points: one for putting any upgraded hero in, one for putting any ranger pet in, one for putting a "rare" ranger pet in, two for adding five total statues, and one each for 10, 20, and 30 total statues. You would need to get all the heroes upgraded and all the rare ranger pets to maximize your points here, but your goal is 4-6 points.

To get four points, you can upgrade 10 different heroes and put them in, ignoring the pet statues. Or, better, you can put in a rare pet statue and four upgraded heroes, giving you five points... or bring it up to nine upgraded heroes to get six points. (If you can upgrade 20 heroes, you can get five points without using a pet statue, but it may be quicker to get that pet statue than the armors for the heroes.)

Pet Statues

Let's cover the ranger pet statues first. Probably the quickest way to do this is to do the quest The Beak of Darkness in Echovald, and charm the level 20 Black Moa this makes available. Unfortunately, the pet is not as-is placeable in the monument; the requirements are a level 20 pet that's "evolved". There's two ways to fix this, both involving the Zaishen Menagerie: put the pet in the Menagerie and retame it at level 15, then take it with you for a while to level it up (you only need Comfort Animal on your bar to make this possible), or pay Zaishen coins to unlock the evolved tier. This will actually give you two statues: the animal companion statue and the Black Moa statue, worth a total of two points.

Your other choice for a rare pet from Factions is to charm the Imperial Phoenix in the area you're sent to when you beat the final mission. Since you'll almost certainly want your Celestial skill for that mission, you can cover Charm Animal with it during the mission but have it available in the end area. You'll need to level the Phoenix up from 5 to 20 or pay Zcoins to level/evolve it to put it in the HoM.

The last pet that counts as a "rare" pet for the HoM purposes is the Black Widow spider available in the Underworld. Unlike the Black Moa, the tameable version spawns with an evolution, so you should be able to simply install it in the HoM as-is. While technically that may make it quicker than the moa, getting through enough of the Underworld to spawn one to tame is somewhat more difficult, and therefore may not actually be faster.

Lastly, you can just pay Zcoins to unlock and level/evolve any pet, including these rare ones. It takes rather more coins to unlock a rare pet than to simply level/evolve it, however.

Hero Statues

An upgraded hero is one you've changed the armor on using items you can get either from doing well in certain challenge missions or completing certain elite areas.

The Nightfall heroes can be upgraded with one of "Stolen Sunspear Armor" (Dajkah Inlet in Kourna), "Ancient Armor Remnants" (Remains of Sahlahja in the Desolation), or "Mysterious Armor Pieces" (The Shadow Nexus in the realm of torment), depending on the hero. All Nightfall heroes can also be upgraded with "Primeval Armor Remnants" (gotten from bosses in The Domain of Anguish).

The Sunspear upgrade is probably the easiest to get once you learn the mission layout, although Ancient is not really any harder with a little practice (tip: use skalefin soup). Between them, you can upgrade up to 10 different Nightfall heroes. Mysterious armor is a bit harder to get due to the 4-man team size you're limited to in The Shadow Nexus, but even with a sub-optimal party you may be able to get a couple armors. Be warned that in all three cases, the more armors you get with one character, the worse the drop rate gets. This may (or may not) reset after a while, and doesn't apply to different characters on the same account, though, and usually you can get 4-5 armors per mission before you notice a drop in rate.

If you're up for more of a challenge, the Domain of Anguish offers not only hero armor upgrades, but a chance at a statue for the Honor monument and probably enough gem drops to get a Tormented weapon for the Valor monument (see the synergy post for more details). To get an armor, you need to kill at least one area boss, which has a chance of dropping the armor for you, as does opening the boss's chest.

Your other option is, of course, EotN heroes. All EotN heroes can be upgraded with Cloth of the Brotherhood (a guaranteed drop if you can finish Glint's Challenge) or Deldrimor Armor Remnants (a guaranteed drop if you can finish the full Slaver's Exile dungeon).

Glint's Challenge is available via the Central Transfer Chamber, requires you to have completed all the EotN primary quests (including killing the big bad) to do, and you only get your armor piece if you complete it. It may take you a few tries to find an optimal mix of players and/or heroes that can clear the challenge reliably. AoE damage and interrupts and/or weakness are both very useful here. Take heart: if you can get past the second wave, you will probably be able to make it to the end.

Slaver's Exile is quite probably the hardest (and longest) dungeon in EotN. Only the final boss can drop you the armor, but you have to clear four levels (with their own bosses) to be able to face that boss... and he cheats. Er, that is, he has a power that means every point of direct damage you do to him is reflected onto you, so either you need to find multiple ways of indirect damage to defeat him (and he has a lot of hit points, so no matter what your method, it can take a while) or you have to load up really hard on prot monks and healers (which is not the recommended method). See the wiki article for more on possible tactics.

In addition to the two guaranteed methods, if you have finished either the Prophecies campaign or Eye of the North, you can participate in a scavenger hunt (spoilers) of sorts for Lt. Thackeray after viewing some War in Kryta related scripted scenes in the Hall of Monuments. The presents you can get for correctly doing this have a chance of dropping either EotN upgrade armor, although there's no guarantee in this case (it appears to be about a 5% chance to get one or the other).

There's one last option here: you can buy the armor upgrades from other players. It's generally not hard to find someone selling at least some of these. Primeval and Deldrimor usually are the most expensive; Sunspear remnants usually the least expensive. You will still need access to the various areas to turn the armor in (the various challenge missions' start points, plus the Gate of Anguish and Gunnar's Hold), but you don't have to get them yourself.

Unlike the Devotion Monument, you can't quite buy your way to max points since the pet statue requires you to at least earn Zcoins, but it's possible to mostly do so.
