Mah Elite Armor, Part 4

I mentioned in passing our "main" native Canthans were nearish the end of their campaign, which we finished up the last mission of last night. They're not quite done done, as they need to go back and get the Master's award on two missions (one of which is a big PITA to get), and there's a few lingering quests (some of which we're deliberately putting off, as there's two competing factions and we're currently only working on the title for one of them, though we'll go back and do them eventually), but close enough. But that means they got their elite armor, yay!

The only way to get this armor is to do the last mission. After you do the mission, you're teleported to the end area, where you can buy this armor (Elite Canthan) and a couple assassin-and-ritualist-specific elite armors (because those professions are native to Cantha). If you didn't bring the things with you needed to make armor, you have to run the (luckily, very short) mission again, in fact.

(Left) Arashi (elementalist), with her minipet Kurzick Juggernaut and her Traveler's Bo Staff. (Right) The very detailed back of the Elite Canthan elementalist armor.

The other thing you can get while you're in the end area is a one-time reward of a rare item. A few of them can only be gotten in this area, while a few others are possible to get a version of elsewhere. I went with a very rare shield; my SO went with a set of "daggers" (they look like swords though) that are unique to the end area reward.

Arashi with her Exalted Aegis shield; Sotou (assassin) with his "Shiro's Daggers"

Accompanying us are my mini-Kurzick Juggernaut and Sotou's mini-Thorn Wolf; the big bird is a ranger pet Phoenix which can only be charmed in that end area. We picked it up on these guys so we could put it in our Zaishen Menagerie collections; neither of us run ranger secondary normally.

Incidentally, our armors are dyed, just very subtly. It's a mix of blue and grey on both of them. Also, if you're interested, this page has the Exalted Aegis in a brighter light, along with a second picture of it upside-down, where instead of looking angelic, it looks demonic. Sorta.
